Defendant, Albert Smith, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in 1988. (111. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 12 — 16.) Smith was sentenced to four years’ probation, a condition of the probation being that he serve a term of periodic imprisonment. Smith’s probation was revoked in 1992, due to his failure to comply with its terms. (111. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 38, par. 1005 — 6—4.) Smith was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on the underlying offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, with credit for 119 days served. Defendant appeals, alleging there are ambiguities…
