In this medical malpractice action, the trial court granted summary judgment to defendants W. C. Melton, M.D. and Radiology & Medical Imagery of Newnan, Inc. based on the statute of limitation. Plaintiff Stanley Walker appeals. Because we find the facts in this case present a situation substantially the same as those present in Zechmann v. Thigpen, 210 Ga. App. 726, 728-729 (3) (437 SE2d 475) (1993); Staples v. Bhatti, 220 Ga. App. 404, 405-406 (1) (469 SE2d 490) (1996); and Whitaker v. Zirkle, 188 Ga.
