After a riding lawn mower accident in which Mr. Burl Spangler allegedly suffered extensive injury to his right foot, Mr. Span-gler and his wife Bonnie brought a six-' count complaint against Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Roper Corporation (hereinafter collectively described as “Sears”) the alleged manufacturer and seller of the riding mower.
