THE COURT.

The plaintiffs, who are brother and sister, brought two actions against the defendant for the recovery of damages, one for the death of their father John A. Ray, and the other for the death of their mother Alma S. Ray, who died as the result of inhaling poisonous fumes from a gas heater which, the plaintiffs charged, the defendant had negligently failed to adjust for the safe burning of the gas supplied by it to its consumers.
