*563 This is the companion ease of Davis, Director General, v. Hubbard’s Adm’r, 132 Va. 193, 111 S. E. 446. Hubbard was killed and Saville injured in the same accident; They were assistant signal maintainers of eight months experience on the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, and traveled from place to place on the railroad, in the discharge of their duties, in a gasoline motor car.
