This case involves the question of whether the United States can maintain an action against an Armed Forces veteran’s employer or workmen’s compensation carrier for the value of hospital and medical services furnished free of charge to the veteran for injuries sustained in the course of his employment. All parties have moved for summary judgment on the issue of the Government’s right to maintain this action.
