Plaintiff instituted this action on December 30, 1927, to recover from the defendant on a judgment rendered by the district court of Silver Bow county on December 2, 1918, for the sum of $1,000, together with interest and costs. By answer the defendant admitted the entry of the judgment, that the plaintiff was the owner and holder of it, and that nothing had been paid thereon; and by way of affirmative defense and counterclaim alleged that the judgment was entered against him in a certain action for the recovery of damages because of an automobile collision, entitled Frank J.
