OPINION AND ORDER

WEINSTEIN, District Judge.

Plaintiff, a resident of New Mexico, alleges that defendant, a New York resident, fraudulently induced her to marry him and then fraudulently procured a Mexican divorce dissolving their marriage. She seeks $500,000 in compensatory and punitive damages and a declaratory judgment that the Mexican divorce decree is invalid. The jurisdiction of this Court is predicated on the diverse citizenship of the parties. 28 U.S.C. § 1332.
