Currently pending before the Court in this interpleader action is a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Plaintiff Planned Furniture Promotion, Inc. (“PFP”) (tab 49) and a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Defendant United States of America, on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) (tab 55). The parties to this action each claim entitlement, in varying amounts, to $110,632.24 in proceeds from the liquidation sale of a now-defunct business venture formerly known as Honey Creek Home Furnishings.
