MEMORANDUM OPINION
SWEET, District Judge.
Defendant Mark Lippold (“Lippold”) appeals the decision to remand him pending sentencing. The government opposes the motion. For the reasons set forth below, the motion will be denied.
Background
On April 12, 2001, a jury convicted Lip-pold of participating in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intention to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841 and 846.
