The National Fruit Products Company, by motion for judgment, proceeded against the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company to recover the sum of $953.24, a portion of this, $136.08, was the value of vinegar which leaked from a tank in transit, and the residue, $817.16, was for the cost of repairs to the tank car of the plaintiff, both items of damage alleged to have been caused by negligence of the defendant in handling the said tank car over its lines between Waynesboro, Va., and Charlottesville, Va., or…
