UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT MIDDLE DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA IN RE: DELTECH MONOMERS OPCO, LLC CASE NO. 26-10182 PUTATIVE DEBTOR CHAPTER 7 MEMORANDUM OPINION This involuntary bankruptcy was initiated by four petitioning creditors (collectively, “Petitioning Creditors”)1 under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code. An involuntary petition is treated much like a lawsuit in that the petition and a summons must be served on the putative debtor. Section 303 of the Bankruptcy Code then affords the putative debtor, referred to in the statute as a “person,” time to file an answer. An order for relief is…
