Appellant Kirk Wayne McBride, Sr., an inmate proceeding pro se, filed suit against the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (“the Department”) because it allegedly violated his constitutional rights by not providing him notice of a grievance proceeding decision. The trial court dis missed McBride’s claims with prejudice for lack of jurisdiction. By a single issue, McBride contends the trial court erred in dismissing his claims. We reverse and remand.
