CONNER, District Judge.

Plaintiff Lydia Cruz (“Cruz” or “the claimant”) brought this action under sections 205(g) and 1631(c)(3) of the Social Security Act (the “Act”), as amended 42 U.S.C. 405(g) and 1383(c)(3), seeking review of a final determination by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the “Secretary”) that her period of disability had ended and she was no longer entitled to receive disability benefits or Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”).
