Statement of the Case

This is a ease based on a complaint filed by the plaintiff alleging that the defend ant, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, permanently injured her as the result of the malpractice of government physicians during the treatment of a broken arm she sustained on March 20, 1959. It was undisputed that the plaintiff was entitled to treatment at the United States Air Force Hospital, at Hunter Air Force Base, Savannah, Georgia, as a military dependant.
