This appeal presents the issue of whether the district court had ancillary jurisdiction over Stacey Field’s motion to expunge the record of her arrest. In 2000, Field was indicted on charges of receipt of stolen property and aiding and abetting a bank robbery after the fact. After the district court granted Field’s motion to suppress evidence obtained as a result of the FBI’s violations of her constitutional rights, the government moved to dismiss the case.
