Error to Wayne; Rohnert, J. Case by the Harrison Granite Company against the Grand Trunk Railway System and National Dispatch Great Eastern Line for damage to a consignment of freight. The court directed a verdict against the Grand Trunk Railway System for less than the claimed damages. Plaintiff brings error.

The plaintiff and appellant is a Michigan corporation, having its home office at Adrian, its executive office at New York City, and its quarries at Barre, Vt. Its principal business is that of erecting vaults, mausoleums, and monuments.

In 1907 plaintiff and appellant had a contract for the construction of a large vault in a cemetery at Minneapolis, Minn., which required the shipment of 16 cars of stone from its quarries at Barre.
