Barbara McGivern brought action against five defendants, Joseph J. Meyer, Audrey C. Meyer, Leo W. Roethe, Amasa Lumber Company, and International Capital Development Corporation, on a series of loans to Amasa Lumber Company (hereinafter referred to as Amasa) aggregating $67,000, evidenced by Amasa’s note in this amount dated January 1, 1970, carrying interest of 10 percent per annum.
