Defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for delivery of a controlled substance. ORS 475.992(l)(b). He contends that the trial court erred in imposing a departure sentence without explaining its reasons and in basing the departure on a finding of persistent involvement in similar offenses that were committed after the crime for which he was being sentenced.
