OPINION
DRAUGHN, Justice.
Appellant, William Edward Hilton, was charged with the felony offense of third degree theft, enhanced by two prior convictions for credit card abuse and theft. Appellant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge and entered a plea of true to the two enhancement paragraphs. The jury found appellant guilty as charged, and the trial court assessed punishment at thirty (30) years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
