This action arises out of an accident that occurred on March 9, 1999 in which plaintiff Joyce Bochman claims to have been injured when she slipped and fell on property owned by defendant Cheektowaga Central School District (CCSD). Plaintiff contends that the cause of the accident was accumulated ice and snow resulting from negligence on the part of CCSD in maintaining its property.
