MICHEL, Judge:
Pursuant to his pleas, appellant was found guilty of two periods of unauthorized absence in violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).1 Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of larceny of an automobile belonging to another enlisted Marine in violation of Article 121, UCMJ.2 He was sentenced by a special court-martial military judge to be reduced to pay grade E-l, to be confined at hard labor for a period of 5 months, to forfeit $275.00 pay per month for a period of 6 months, and to be discharged from the U.
