Claimant Jacqueline L. McRae filed an application for adjustment of claim pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act (the Act) (820 ILCS 305/1 et seq. (West 1994)) for low back injuries allegedly-sustained on March 21, 1991, while working for Venture Stores, Inc. (Venture). The arbitrator awarded claimant eight weeks’ temporary total disability (TTD) and 25% permanent partial disability (PPD), upon finding a causal connection between claimant’s condition of ill-being and a work-related accident.
