Background

Plaintiffs, Irene Stone O’Neal and Linda Hughes, brought this § 1983 action against the Mississippi State Board of Nursing, its executive director, and the board members in their official and individual capacities, for allegedly violating their Fourteenth Amendment Due Process rights when their license to practice nursing was revoked following adjudicatory hearings.
