This action was instituted by Frank Ullom and Margaret B. Ullom, his wife, against the city of Renton, to recover damages for injuries claimed to have been sustained by Margaret Ullom, as the result of the failure of defendant to maintain one of its sidewalks in a reasonably safe condition.
The allegations of the amended complaint, relative to the negligence of defendant, are as follows:
