The plaintiff Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge Company is a Canadian corporation with power under the law of its creation to “ unite with any other persons, company or body politic to construct a suspension or other bridge across the Niagara river.” The plaintiff Niagara Falls International Bridge Company is a New York corporation with somewhat similar powers. The boundary line between Canada and the United States is along the center of the Niagara river.
