Introduction

In this copyright infringement action involving stock photography, defendant *964moves for summary judgment. For the reasons explained below, defendant’s motion is Granted.

Plaintiff Minden Pictures, Inc., is a stock photography agency that licenses photographs to publishers. Defendant Pearson Education, Inc., is a publisher of educational textbooks.
