This is a proceeding to recover workmen’s compensation for the death of Albert J. Corley which occurred between the hours of 5 :00 and 6:00 o’clock on the morning of October 24, 1958 as a result of an automobile accident. He had gone to Columbia on the previous day and was returning to his home in Greenwood, South Carolina, when he received the fatal injuries. The distance between these two cities is approximately 75 miles.
