Before the Court is the plaintiffs’ motion to remand this action to the Mississippi state court in which it was originally filed. For the reasons set forth below, the motion is DENIED.

The plaintiffs, residents of Louisiana, filed this action on February 1, 2001, in Mississippi state court against Ford Motor Company (“Ford”), a Michigan corporation, Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc.
