This is a habeas corpus proceeding wherein the appellant, Nora (Noah) Pope, alleges that he is being illegally deprived of his liberty by the appellee Marvin Wiggins, Superintendent of the Mississippi State Penitentiary, for the reason that he was granted an indefinite suspension of a life sentence for murder, “pending good behavior, and on condition that it may be revoked without notice for any reason deemed sufficient to the governor,” and that the same was revoked in violation of due process of law, because he was given no notice and opportunity to be heard, even though the order of…
