This was a suit to foreclose a materialman’s lien, brought by Koppe & Steinichen, a partnership, against Walter Bylander et al., as owners of the property against which the lien was sought to be asserted. The petitioners alleged that C. K. Howell was employed by the defendants as a contractor for the improvement of the property in question, and that as such contractor they furnished him certain material which was used in the improvement of defendants’ property.
