Appeal from a judgment of the Court of Claims (Benza, J.), entered June 22, 1999, upon a decision of the court in favor of the State.

Claimant, a student at the State University of New York at Albany (hereinafter SUNYA), was injured when she was struck by a door. The door in question was a fire door which separated the lower level of an academic building from the tunnel system under the SUNYA academic buildings, a passageway used by service personnel, students and faculty to traverse the campus.
