Plaintiff Salvador Jimenez filed a five count complaint against defendant Thompson Steel Company, Inc. (“Thompson”) alleging discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (counts I and II), discrimination in violation of the Illinois Human Rights Act, 775 ILCS 5/1-101 et seq. (“IHRA”) (count III), and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress (counts IV and V).
