Defendant, Daniel Accardo, was charged with unlawful possession and delivery of more than 500 grams of cannabis. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 56½, pars. 704(e), 705(e).) Accardo was found guilty after a bench trial and sentenced to a four-year term of imprisonment.
