In this case, appellant, Seafoam, Inc., the purchaser of a product brought suit against appellee Barrier Systems, Inc., the manufacturer of the product, under several theories of recovery for damages sustained by Seafoam due to lack of proper performance of the product. Barrier moved for partial summary judgment, asserting that one of Seafoam’s claims was based on redhibition and had prescribed.
