GIERKE, Judge:
1. A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted Captain (CPT) Huet-Vaughn, contrary to her pleas, of desertion with intent to avoid hazardous duty and shirk important service, in violation of Article 85, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 885. The court-martial sentenced her to dismissal from the service, confinement for 30 months, and total forfeitures. The convening authority reduced the confinement to 15 months.
