1. This a suit by the appellant, Mary A. Felton, to have homestead allotted and dower assigned to her in certain real and personal property. . She is the widow of Marion Felton, deceased. At the time of his death he owned and occupied 160 acres of land, which constituted his homestead. He also owned about 193 acres of other land, twenty acres of which were well improved and adjoined the homestead on the west. The rest was unimproved. He owned personal property of the value of something more than $400, and had in the bank $550.
