Early in January, 1883, the four sons of John Harrison, deceased, as his only heirs at law, made a partition of the lands of which he died seized, and in such partition John H. Harrison received two tracts of land, aggregating 300 acres, whereon there was no dwelling house, the tracts being largely timbered lands. In such partition the said John H., for purposes of equalization, was required to pay his brother Richard $600. At that date the said John H. had a family, consisting of his wife, Mrs. Fannie Harrison, and several children.…
