The testator executed a will by which he bequeathed fifty dollars to each of his two children, all his personal and household effects to his wife and the residue of his estate to his trustee in trust “ to hold, manage, invest and reinvest ” it and to pay the net income to his wife for life, then, after division into two parts, to pay the income to each of his two children for life with remainder over to their issue per stirpes and in default of such issue to a relative.
