OPINION

MAES, Justice.

{1} Defendant Randy Johnson was charged with trafficking by manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Defendant moved to suppress the evidence on the basis that the officers violated the requirement that officers must knock and announce their presence and purpose when executing a search warrant. After the trial court denied the motion, Defendant appealed the issue.
