These two cases present appeals by the defendant from decrees of a Justice of the Superior Court, sitting in equity, awarding $5,000 to the plaintiff Lunt and $2,950 to the plaintiff Constantine. The plaintiffs are judgment creditors of one Joy C. Small, holding executions against him for the amounts of their awards, recovered in actions at law alleging personal injuries caused by his negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
