I think this judgment should he reversed.

The appellant offered in evidence the record of the report of death of Herbert Sturtevant, made to the board of health of the city of Evansville, in which the cause of death was stated as “acute alcoholism.” This evidence was excluded, and an exception reserved. The admissibility in evidence of death reports made in the collecting of vital statistics is presented for the first time in this court. It is contended that such reports are not required by law, but this is a mistaken view. Section one of the act of April 10, 1907…
