This is a bill in equity brought against the mayor and the director of public safety, plus an intervening defendant, by the *419owners of various hotels on Walnut Street, in which plaintiffs seek an injunction against the enforcement of a city ordinance dated June 17,1947, regulating the dimensions of signs that project into the street.

Answers have been filed, and testimony was taken on June 18,1948.
