This was an action in behalf of a widow and four children against a power company for the death of the husband and father of the bereaved family.

Briefly the facts were these: Charles Elliott Richards resided with, his family on a farm near Madison. His house was wired for electricity supplied by this defendant.. In August, 1924, Richards planned to raise his house and set it back a short distance and build 'a new residence oil the site.
