Defendant pled guilty to the crime of armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797. He now appeals as of right.

The prosecution and defendant entered into a plea bargain in which defendant would plead guilty to one count of armed robbery in exchange *37for a maximum sentence of ten years in prison. This bargain was set forth on the record before the trial judge who accepted the plea and sent the matter to the probation department for a presentence report.
