The record shows that on the 13th of May, 1862, the plat of Blairstown was recorded; that as the plat was originally prepared it included a portion of territory on the north side of the railroad track, running by said town, which Blair, the proprietor of the. town, did not then own; and which after waiting some time after the plat was thus prepared he was unable to procure title to ; whereupon that portion of the original plat was abandoned and a new plat with that portion omitted was recorded at the time above stated.
