OPINION, FINDINGS OF FACT, AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
PAUL L. FRIEDMAN, District Judge.
This matter is before the Court on plaintiff Lawrence Belkin’s motion, individually and as next of kin of Gail Belkin, for default judgment under Rule 55 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, based on the sworn affidavits, exhibits, and other evidence submitted to the Court in support of the entry of a default judgment. This case arises from the 1996 killing of plaintiffs wife in Israel as the result of a suicide bombing allegedly sponsored by the defendants and carried out by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
