I. Background

Plaintiff was a paramedic employed by defendant City through May of 2014. In July of 2011, Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the City under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), claiming that defendant failed to properly calculate overtime payments for paramedics and EMTs.
