Plaintiff-appellant, Melinda Bell, appeals the district court’s judgment affirming the Secretary’s denial of her application for supplemental social security income benefits. For the following reasons, we affirm.

Plaintiff applied for supplemental security income (SSI) on October 14, 1992, alleging disability due to chronic cocaine and alcohol dependence. The Secretary denied her application initially and upon reconsideration. Plaintiff requested a hearing before an ALJ, who found that plaintiff was not eligible for SSI.
