The appellant, Ronald Lewis Hall, pleaded guilty to robbery in the third degree and was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. The trial court ordered that the sentence be split: the appellant was to serve two years in the penitentiary and he was placed on probation for a period of five years. Thereafter, the trial court was advised by the Lee County Probation Officer that the appellant was in violation of his probation.
